Biography

Jack Czerwinski is an experienced public policy expert and advocate on a wide variety of defense and technology matters. He is the founder and president of Reston Strategy Group “RSG,” a successful government affairs and strategic business consulting firm located in Northern Virginia. RSG has extensive experience with the Congressional appropriations process and focuses on the aerospace, defense and technology sectors. RSG also regularly engages on Congressional authorization legislation and Federal Agency regulatory matters to help shape positive outcomes for its clients.

Prior to founding RSG, Mr. Czerwinski served as a Senior Director for Government Affairs at FTI Consulting, a global business advisory firm. There, he led complex legislative, regulatory and reputational engagements on behalf of clients in the aerospace and defense industry. He also worked at the Brimley Group, a boutique government affairs firm in Washington, D.C., where he provided strategic counsel and government affairs services to companies in the aerospace, national security and justice areas.

Before moving to the private sector, Mr. Czerwinski served as Appropriations Legislative Assistant to Virginia Congressman Frank R. Wolf (VA-10), who served as Chairman of the House Commerce-Justice-Science Appropriations Subcommittee with oversight and funding jurisdiction over NASA, DOJ, the FBI and other federal agencies. In this capacity, Jack developed expertise on a broad range of appropriations and authorization issues relating to national security, defense and aerospace matters. Prior to working on Capitol Hill, Mr. Czerwinski served as a fellow in the Virginia Governor’s Office. He received a B.A. in Government from the University of Virginia and an M.P.P. with a concentration in National Security from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government.
